Scope of work
Structural & Layout Improvements
- Added a full extension to expand living space.
- Created an open-plan kitchen/diner with skylights for natural light.
- Installed a new home office with its own skylight.
- Added a downstairs cloakroom/WC.
Heating & Plumbing Upgrades
- Removed an outdated back boiler and installed an energy-efficient wood burner.
- Fitted a new combi boiler in the garage.
- Replaced all radiators with modern, efficient models.
Windows, Doors & Access
- Installed new double glazing throughout.
- Replaced all external doors with secure, contemporary designs including new bi-fold doors to the rear.
- Fitted an insulated electric roller garage door.
External Enhancements
- Fully landscaped the garden for relaxing and entertaining.
- Constructed a detached garden studio for use as an office, gym, or guest space.
- Installed a new block-paved driveway for off-road parking.
Interior Finishes
- Upgraded staircase with stainless-steel handrail and solid oak newel posts.
- Replaced flooring throughout with modern, durable materials.
- Installed new internal doors and bespoke fitted wardrobes in all bedrooms.
Electrical & Security Upgrades
- Fitted a new fuse box and hard-wired smoke alarms.
- Installed a full home security system with alarm and CCTV coverage.
Results
The Warblington house was completely transformed inside and out, a contemporary, efficient and beautifully finished family home. With new living space, improved flow, modern systems and high-quality detailing, the property now reflects exceptional craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
