A proud family tradition
From childhood, Lorne spent his weekends on construction sites with his father and older brothers, learning the value of hard work, integrity and the finer details that turn a house into a home.
That legacy runs deep in the Adams family. Lorne’s brothers, Simon and Rowan, went on to careers in carpentry, shop-fitting and property development – one would go on to build his own home in Carbis Bay, Cornwall, which he hosts as an Airbnb in summer.

Lorne's property background
Despite spending decades in other careers, Lorne always maintained his skill and passion for property maintenance and building. Alongside his day jobs, he bought and refurbished properties from the age of 22, developing a sharp eye for quality, problem-solving and good workmanship.
After decades of hands-on experience, Lorne recognised a growing need for a reliable, trustworthy property maintenance service – one that provided first-class care for homes long after the build was complete. Combining his skills with the values he inherited from his family, he founded Adams Property Plus – the name a tribute to the craftsmanship and commitment to doing things properly that he grew up with.
Today, Adams Property Plus supports homeowners and landlords with expert maintenance, refurbishment and repair services. We carry out every project with pride, care and attention to detail, using qualified tradespeople who share our belief that if you’re going to build something, build it to last.
